Basketball cards
Basketball card scanner and value checker.
Parallels and rookie cards drive basketball prices. Card AI narrows the catalog so you can confirm the version before pricing it.
Review the parallel before you save it.
Card AI narrows the catalog to likely set and card-number matches. Confirm the parallel and finish, then open the selected record in the card price checker.

The parallel is the card
Modern basketball releases print the same player image across a long ladder of parallels, many of them serial numbered. The base card and a numbered parallel from the same set are completely different assets, and the numbering is often the only visible difference.
Card AI suggests matching records with the set and card number. In Review, confirm the parallel and finish before using the selected record for pricing.
Rookie cards carry a premium that does not transfer
A player's rookie-year cards trade on a different curve from everything printed afterwards, and that premium is specific to the rookie printings. Recording the set per card keeps rookie and non-rookie copies separate in your collection rather than merged under a player name.
Raw and graded basketball cards tracked apart
- Raw cards are stored with their condition
- Graded cards are stored with the grading company and grade, across PSA, BGS, CGC and SGC
- The same card can be held as both a raw copy and a graded one, each with its own value
You enter the grade from the slab. Card AI does not predict what a raw card would grade.

Basketball card scanner questions.
Can the scanner identify numbered parallels?
The scan suggests catalog matches with the set and card number. Check the serial numbering and confirm the parallel or finish in Review so it is not recorded as the base card.
Does Card AI cover vintage basketball cards?
Cards are identified from the card database by set and card number, and both raw condition and third-party grades are recorded, which is how older cards are usually valued.
What is my basketball card worth?
Select the matching catalog record, confirm its finish, and choose a raw condition or existing slab grade. Card AI then shows the relevant current market price.
Is there a basketball card price checker as well?
Yes. The basketball card value scanner and the search-based basketball card price checker reach the same record, so you can value a card with or without it in hand. Cards you add build a basketball card collection tracker.
